The recently reconstructed vintage design hotel Sax is superbly situated in the heart of the Lesser Town, right below Prague's castle.

The hotel's interiors transport guests back to the 1950s, 60s and 70s, which typically enjoyed an unparalleled freedom of design. The hotel features many original pieces representing the period's cutting edge in global design, including names like Panton, Colani, Saarinen and Eames.

Many of the chairs, sofas, light fittings, graphic works and pictures are originals of the period. Some have been refurbished and others are in their original state. But in their time they were exclusive, and only available to a wealthier clientele.

The hotel attempts to transport guests to an environment which contrasts greatly with the Lesser Town and the exterior facade of the Hotel Sax itself.
