Antoni Bernad Europe photographers

Antoni Bernad studied Fine Arts and for six years worked as a graphic designer for a range of advertising agencies. In 1966 he moved to Paris and decided to devote himself exclusively to photography.

For over 40 years Antoni has worked for top international magazines, becoming one of the most recognised fashion photographers. He has shot for the likes of Elle, Vogue, Vanity Fair, Marie Claire, AD, Telva, El Pais Semanal, Yo Dona, Woman, and clients including Pronovias, Chanel, Cartier, Carolina Herrera, Emporio Armani, Pertegaz and Mango.

Antoni is not only a professional fashion photographer - his work as a portraitist goes beyond professional assignments. Dali, Paloma Picasso, Horst, David Hockney, Tàpies, Català Roca, Manolo Blahnik, Joan Miró, Chillida, Mario Mertz, Kenzo, Richard Gere, Tom Ford, Gae Aulenti, Kapuscinski, Hartung, Helmut Berger, Penelope Cruz, Valentino, Oriol Bohigas, Frederic Mompou, Josep Pla, Elsa Peretti, Victoria de los Angeles, Laura Ponte have all appeared in front of his camera. His portraits always try to reach the soul and reflect its most intimate emotions.

Antoni has work in the museum collections of MNAC and MACBA.
