Sandro Zanzinger taught photography, both in theory and practice, at the University of Art and Design in Linz. The conflict between various genres and tasks represents the foundation of his multifarious grasp of image-making.

Aside from reports on vernissages and other events, Sandro devotes himself extensively to portraits of artists and their work. Often a profound controversy between the specific personality of an artist and the detailed retouching of their shots leads to an authentic photographic statement.

Sandro obtains results with an astonishing human reality. He calls his studio 'The Sensual Laboratory', as such an aspiration demands a high dose of sensitivity and empathy.
