Dutch-born photographer Tjaard M. Spiering has been based in Hamburg since the early nineties.
His professional work focuses on food and still life photography. With an eye for detail and atmospherics, Tjaard masters photographic challenges with intuition and sensitivity. His background in graphic design permits him to use his experience to turn clients' ideas into perfect pictures.
Alongside his food and still life photography, Tjaard continues working on several applied architecture photography assignments. His latest project is featured in the current issue of 'Power Shop 2, New Retail Design', published in October 2009 by Frame Magazine, Amsterdam.
