Position Overview
Free Range is searching for a full-time Art Director with a passion for designing innovative branding and digital experiences. This is a unique opportunity to join a team of designers, strategists, writers and technologists who believe in the power of group genius. You revel in using all the mediums at your disposal to solve society's greatest challenges and strive for the utmost excellence in your craft regardless of the tool you choose. You know how to blow away clients and internal teams away with hyper-relevant, breakthrough ideas and salesmanship. You’re comfortable leading teams across multiple projects while deftly managing budgets, timelines and quality deliverables.

An exceptional portfolio of recent and current projects

3-5 years of experience delivering digital projects at a creative agency or in-house team

A strategic mindset with strong leadership and teambuilding skills

Deep understanding of core design principles

Knowledge of Information Architecture (IA) and User Experience (UX) methodology for responsive and mobile web design

The ability to clearly and confidently present your work in front of both internal and external audiences

Ability to keep up with current trends in the digital design, development and tech community
Experience with agile process

Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite - specifically Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign

Basic dev skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) are a big plus
