They are looking for a well-rounded Art Director to join San Diego office. Applicants for this position should have a background in clean interactive design as well as a strong understanding of web technology. The focus of the position will be on creating unique branded experiences for the company´s clients and contributing design aesthetics of the utmost quality in time for websites to be completed and launched. Applicants should be able to collaborate well with developers, designers, and project managers and work within a team environment.

2+ years of experience in interactive design

Ability to show a portfolio that depicts a range of design skills

Expert Photoshop skills

Ability to design under leadership and within a team’s creative direction

Excellent attitude and desire to learn

High level understanding of CSS, HTML, and JavaScript in how it affects design

Understanding of mobile and responsive design


Well organized pixel perfect PSD’s with interactive guides/layers

Providing accurate timing estimates on work

Providing leadership to our design team on a per project basis

Direct presentation and communication with clients

Contributing to documentation (Project Briefs and Style Guides)

Key input into internal brainstorming and creative concepting

Staying abreast to industry issues and trends, particularly in regard to accessibility, usability and emerging technologies
