We are currently seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as the Director of Video Services and Production.
The Director of Video Services and Production will be responsible for the creation, development, management and distribution of broadcast-quality video and digital assets that effectively tell the story of Johns Hopkins Medicine to external and internal audiences. Our team’s mission is to raise Johns Hopkins Medicine’s profile in ways that that support the institutional strategic plan and brand positioning, and engages the consumer.
As the Director of Video Services and Production, you must be able to work flexible and extended weekday hours as needed, including weekends as needed.
• Supervising the in-house video department, contractors, freelancers and vendors
• Collaborating with team for video production, script development, motion graphic development
• Managing multiple facilities, including an in-house editing suite and a video production studio

To qualify for this position, you must have a Bachelor’s degree with at least 7-10 years of experience in concept development, copywriting, video/film production, studio management and operations. Broadcast production experience in live, recorded and remote scenarios and formats, as well as experience with systems used to manage and archive digital assets is required. The successful candidate must have strong collaborative and managerial skills, but also the ability to work autonomously. Exceptional communication and organizational skills are essential.
