We require a highly responsible, proactive individual with a few years\\\\\\\' experience assisting photographers/studio assisting to be a Studio Supervisor at this busy rental studio. The role is divided between facility & studio assistant management. Duties include managing assistants workload and schedules, equipment management, venue maintenance and its presentation, along with related stock control. The job includes heavy lifting and overseeing the smooth provision of equipment, refreshments, and deliveries to clients on shoot days. The candidate must be flexible to work varied hours and will be required to work some long/evening shifts and occasionally at the weekend.
The ideal candidate would have advanced-level tool knowledge and practical maintenance skills. With design guidance, s/he has the ability to lead a team on basic set builds. Great time-management and organisation is essential. In addition they would have comprehensive photographic equipment knowledge, the ability to self-motivate, communicate clearly with colleagues and clients, with great attention to detail and reliability.
Salary on application, including paid overtime.
Trial days starting immediately. 2012 start date (somewhat flexible).
