The filmmaker will help the team with all aspects of filmmaking from initial creative to shooting, editing and polishing footage. Duties will include, but are not limited to: research, writing, shooting, editing footage, color correcting and basic after effects. Client videos will vary from 30-second pre-roll ads to new product promos or explainers, company vision videos and customer use cases. Projects range in size and involvement, sometimes requiring solo execution, other times lots of collaboration. The filmmaker will eventually become a project lead, involving some client relations and manage all aspects of a production. Technical skills (camera and/or editing), a sharp aesthetic eye, and an intuitive sense of how to tell a story in under two minutes are a must.
2-3 years of video production experience
Client relations and project management skills
Advanced editing in Final Cut and/or Adobe Premiere
Basics of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
A working knowledge of or basic understanding of motion graphics
Shooting experience; DSLR and/or Red preferred
Ability to capture, compress and output digital video to various codecs / formats
Detail oriented, organized, and with a strong ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Intuitive with story: understands basic story structure, both in how to write scripts and video editing
