David Goh is a 25 year old artist from Singapore. Following an early interest in the medium, he completed his formal studies in Fine Art Photography at LASALLE College of the Arts Singapore in 2013 before moving on to further expand his portfolio in New York, Sydney and Europe; lending a unique international perspective to his work.
A firm believer in natural light, David’s images – characterized by the unmistakable black and white and emotive style – applies the principles of pure photography; using simply light and shade. His minimalist aesthetic and sensitivity to light help bring into sharp relief the beauty of his subjects, giving rise to imagery that celebrates both the environment and his subjects in their most natural state. Most recently, he was the recipient of the Merit Award in the main category of the Singapore Young Photographer Award (SYPA) 2016.
