ABOUT AVA

Ava was born in Starnberg into a family of established artists and her passion for art was instilled in her since she was in the cradle. She is currently based in Berlin and available for requests worldwide. New York is her most beloved travel spot, and you can find her throughout the year in this inspiring city.
Ava is a passionate and multiple award winning, freelance photographer and experienced Art Director. Ava studied graphic design and photography whilst at university and spent several years as the Art Director of a monthly printed international lifestyle magazine, based in the USA. Upon her return to Berlin, she assumed the position of Art Director for a company with several beauty brands. Today her main focus is photography.
Ava`s passion for photography developed early in life alongside her love for horses. Her first career was as a professional equestrian and having sat on the horse’s back before she had taken her first steps, it was a clear that when Ava started out with photography – at that time, still analog photography - she would specialize in taking photographs of horses. After her first campaign for Rolex and photographing the Olympic Games as a sports photographer, she decided to explore different areas of photography. Today her work is focused on fashion, beauty and portraits.
Her photography has been published worldwide in magazines like L`Officiel, ELLE, Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Client, Stern, Schön and many, many more. Ava`s clients are based worldwide and range from fashion brands and beauty-companies to actors & actresses and other artists.
