The Gill Turner Photographic Agency is a London-based agency representing a roster of some of the UK's most talented commercial photographers in the fields of still life, street photography, location, portraiture, automotive and reportage. The company is regularly involved in all aspects of shoot production and welcomes commissions of all shapes and sizes.
As the agency nears the end of a busy year, the last few months have seen its photographers working with a wide range of commercial and editorial clients on some exciting shoots, including Shell, Syngenta (Christopher Pillitz), Sky (Ian Butterworth), Eurostar, Bank of Scotland, Daily Mirror (Matt Stuart), Post Office, TFL (Jonathan Kitchen), Intelligent Life and Regatta (David Short).
Featured in this issue of Spotlight are commissions shot by Matt Stuart for a huge Daily Mirror rebranding campaign, Ian Butterworth’s beautiful portrait which has been selected as a contender for the Wallpaper Awards in association with LeBook, David Short’s shot on the Yorkshire Moors of over 300 extras for Regatta, one from a series of Christopher Pillitz’s commission for Syngenta with Ogilvy Primary Contact, and Jonathan Kitchen’s beautiful still life shots taken for TFL with M&C Saatchi as part of a new hard-hitting road safety campaign.

Jonathan Kitchen is having a super busy summer, having shot a huge production campaign for WorldPay Zinc with VCCP, as well as producing shots for Lurpak and TFL.
David Short is away in New Zealand shooting for his on-going campaign with Regatta. Along with taking photos for Intelligent Life and Sports Aid, he has also been shortlisted for this year’s AOP awards.
Matt Stuart recently worked on a brand new campaign for a national newspaper, and continued his work for Bank of Scotland shooting stills and directing in the picturesque Scottish Highlands.
Christopher Pillitz has been in Kenya for Ogilvy Primary Contact, as well as Rio for Shell and is currently on another top-secret production, taking him worldwide to six different countries. Featured in this Showcase is a sneak preview of one of Christopher's shots from his forthcoming book on Brazilian football culture.
New addition Ian Butterworth’s portfolio is going down a storm at the agencies and he is currently working on two commissions taking him to lots of exotic locations - details to follow on the next Showcase!
