Munich: Adam Pretty
Adam began his career as a news photographer at The Sydney Morning Herald in 1997 and his desire to specialise in sport photography saw him move to ALLSPORT/Getty Images in 1998. Adam has been based in Los Angeles, Sydney, Beijing, Tokyo and Munich, where he continues to work today.
Adam has photographed seven Olympic Games, and covered assignments around the globe for magazines including Stern, Wired, Sports Illustrated, Time Magazine, Harper's Bazaar and Marie Claire.
Adam's pre-eminence in the field of sport action photography has been recognised widely throughout the photographic world. He has been awarded a number of major international awards, and in 2010 was part of the World Press Photo competition jury in Amsterdam.
Always seeking new challenges and experiences in photography, Adam began shooting advertising projects alongside his sports work in 2007. Through both his sports and advertising photography, Adam constantly challenges people’s perceptions with fresh ideas – an element of his job that he particularly enjoys.
Advertising clients include: Adidas, Nike, Sprite, L'Oreal, BMW.

Adam has photographed seven Olympic Games, and covered assignments for magazines including Time Magazine, Harpers Bazaar, Marie Claire, Stern, Sports Illustrated, and Life Magazine.
Adam's preeminence in the field of sport action photography has been recognised
