"Situational realities... extreme to not."
Gary Sloan Studios loves to create situations. They tell a story, they develop a desire, or even just simply drive awareness.
"I like to build an experience for my subjects and then shoot the reality of what they're feeling, I've been doing this for over 25 years, and that's what keeps it fresh for me."
Gary is currently shooting heart attacks, military actions, life challenges and pool cleaning.

Gary Sloan is that rare kind of photographer who can actually build an image as he shoots. Whether it's creating an oceanside set in the studio or compiling the right lick of flame with that beautiful drip of sauce with that gorgeous shrimp on that perfect steak, he has the ability to create exactly what clients need right in front of their eyes.
“There is no doubt in my mind that Gary is the ‘MacGyver’ of photography. I’ve found him working hands on, building sets, crafting stories, expanding on concepts and actually sweating while taking an axe to an old log, just to get the perfect shot. Gary Sloan can only be described as a true artisan of his craft.” Jay Clifton, Creative Director, Uno Restaurant Corporation.
Gary is available on location anywhere in the world and at home in NYC and Boston.

"Remember that amazing lunch we shared sitting on an old wool blanket, on the cliff watching the storms fast approach just below those castle ruins on the coast of Scotland? Just a simple shepherd's sandwich, a cup of green pea soup, and a bottle of wine. I can still taste it. And see it. And want it again."
All it takes is a story and food can come alive.
The team at Gary Sloan Studios loves to create that story, and has been doing so on location or in the studio for over 25 years.
