• Jeff Harris injects a sense of humanness and life into the still life genre, creating bold, graphic, and whimsical images that push the envelope. Shooting conceptual commercial and fine art work for over twenty-five years, Jeff has provided distinctive and memorable images for a diverse list of clients.    Jeff Harris grew up surrounded by many different art worlds. His father ran an advertising agency while his mom pursued painting and photography. His house was in fact a gallery that displayed a wide variety of art and artisanal work. From an early age, commercial and fine art intermingled and filtered directly into Jeff's imagination. An NYU graduate of filmmaking and film history, supplemented with a diverse interest in all art form and production, Jeff's images emphasize movement and cinematic energy. His photography brings his subjects to life. Flowers, glass, metal, and wood vibrantly frame people, places, and things. In short, stories are told. A long-time New Yorker, Jeff lives in Greenpoint with his wife Diana and their son, Decker.
