James Holm works as a photographer since the mid nineties. First he was focusing on skateboarding and action sports, his first love.

James' father, Bengt Ason Holm, was also a photographer and author. He produced books about cars. James joined his father in famous car factories in Italy and England and got to see his father working. When James took his driver's license, skateboarding and action sports was slowly switched to cars and is now the thing James is focusing on.

When James' journalist colleagues started using his photos for their articles, James started to write texts for his photos. A bad picture is almost impossible to fix, a bad text is always fixable, as long as you have a feeling about the car and how to drive it.

James doesn’t sit down and wait for things to happen. James makes things happen.
