Heynstudios, Berlin’s only industrial studio from 1907, offers a distinctive alternative to sterile production spaces. Spanning 200+ square meters, it provides daylight or blackout options for photo and film shoots.
With rustic wood, vintage leather, and a vast collection of props—including antique furniture, retro lamps, and classic vehicles—the studio evokes a Peaky Blinders-style industrial charm. Ground-floor access allows seamless loading and unloading.
The studio also offers a selection of production essentials, such as lights, stands, backdrops, and backdrop systems, providing additional support for smaller projects.

Janine Graubaum

Janine Graubaum was born in East Berlin and grew up in a car-loving family. She discovered her passion for photography and film at the age of 15. By 17, she had moved to England to complete her high school diploma. Upon returning to Germany, she worked as a camera assistant on film productions and later completed her training in photo design at the Lette Verein in Berlin.
Her fascination with automobiles and travel led her to collaborate with renowned automotive photographer Michael Schnabel, where she gained invaluable experience. During this time, she also worked as a Director of Photography (DoP) for video productions on his sets.
Today, Janine directs her own commercial productions in the automotive and people-lifestyle sectors. She continues to photograph stills and embraces the creative challenge of combining both disciplines. Her clients include Opel, BMW, Mazda, Audi, and Hermes.
In addition to her commercial work, Janine dedicates herself to long-term reportage and documentary photography projects. Her focus is on building close connections with people and capturing authentic, meaningful stories.
