Even before he picked up a camera, Matt Zugale had the desire and drive to move to New York City. Photography became the vehicle that got him there in 2003.
Over time, Matt established himself as a portrait and lifestyle photographer able to tell engaging stories about his subjects.

"These images were taken during my recent trip to the Upper Tiber Valley, the heartland of Italy. My time there was spent with makers, farmers and food producers. I was moved by their sense of history and tradition in the fields and the pride and care taken in the kitchen."
