Welcome to Showcase New York, brought to you by Production Paradise. Dale May Photography: New York advertising photographers
New York-based, award-winning, advertising, entertainment and editorial photographer Dale May has been creating iconic images for over 18 years.
Best known for his richly stylised, character-driven, conceptual work, Dale has captured some of today's most recognisable personalities, including Daniel Day-Lewis, Charlize Theron, Benedict Cumberbatch, Daniel Radcliffe, Elizabeth Banks, Jared Leto, Amy Poehler and Christina Aguilera.
Personally passionate about music and performance, Dale has also shot countless bands and Broadway casts.
Although Dale has remained focused on his commercial career, his roots have always been firmly planted in the fine arts. He moved to NY from Chadds Ford, PA to study painting, colour theory, and art history at Parson's School of Design. The foundation of these first few years shaped his current aesthetic style, and he graduated in 1993 with a BFA in Photography.
Combining his background in painting and colour theory, lighting and post-production, Dale works with the inspiration to make the unthinkable real, as well as believable.

Brian Bloom is an award-winning commercial and editorial photographer whose work was most recently selected in 2014 by American Photography 30.
At the root of his creative process is preparation. Beginning with hyper-focused pre-production, location scouting, and attention to minutia, it ends with an on-set environment that allows his subjects to be at ease for Brian to capture authentic, spontaneous images. He photographs landscapes, celebrities, athletes, and real people with a passion and affection for the unfiltered truth.
When he isn’t shooting, Brian can be found cycling in Prospect Park, Brooklyn attempting to keep up with his wife and five-year-old daughter.

Mark Roskams: New York interiors & exteriors photographers
Australian-born photographer Mark Roskams started his career in the mid 80s when he began travelling the world and developing his interest in photographing architecture and design.
His work led him from New York to Florida, the Caribbean and Europe before he finally settled back in New York.
His photographs have appeared in a wide variety of international magazines including AD Germany, France, Italy, Russia and China, as well as many others.
In 2011 his book of architecture and interiors 'Masseria - The Italian Farmhouses of Puglia' was published by Rizzoli International.
During this time Mark has crafted his style of using natural light to give structure and design to abstract shapes, working with form and colour to produce recognisable work.

Margot Cavin is a still life photographer specialising in soft goods, fashion accessories, cosmetics, and beverages. Margot moved to New York City after graduating from Rochester Institute of Technology with a degree in Professional Photographic Illustration. She works out of her studio in the Financial District in lower Manhattan, but also loves to shoot still life on location. Margot believes that a calm and light hearted set produces the best environment for fostering creativity and getting the job done.
