Boon Chian is currently based in Singapore. He started his photographic career at the age of eight with his first state-of-the-art 35mm yashica camera. He began as the official family portrait photographer but gradually grew more ambitious and moved away from shooting "warty toads and aunts". His passion for photography includes fashion, people, landscapes, architecture, still life, mayhem, and the spirit of the human race.
