Dimitra Giatrakou is a freelance Athens based Make up Artist with more than 13 years of experience.

Her work has been featured on Greek and international films such as Mamma Mia, the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, Nikostratos the Pelican with Emir Kusturica, as well as a large number of commercials including clients such as Toyota, Amstel, Aegean Airlines, Skoda, Public, Vodafone, Cosmote, Ote, Opap, National Bank of Greece, Eurobank, Amita and many more.

Dimitra has a mastery of advanced Make up techniques for all mediums and formats and her experience covers both contemporary and period films and T.V, including special effects, ageing, wounds, wig work, facial hair and appliance of prosthetics, as well as body paintings for fashion and trade shows, advertising and artistic projects. Airbrush Make up is another one of her widely known skills.

Professionally trained at the East Coast School for Make up in NYC, Dimitra is licensed as a member of the Greek Union of Film, Television and Audiovisual Technicians and is available to travel worldwide.
