Lowe launches new Blockbuster for Stella Artois

Lowe has unveiled the latest TV and cinema commercial in its multi award-winning 'Reassuringly Expensive' campaign for Stella Artois. The 120-second epic will air nationally in TV and Cinema spots from the end of June.

The ad was shot in black and white by Ivan Zacharias. The last Stella Artois commercial he directed, 'Doctor', won a D&AD pencil, the BTAA Grand Prix and a Cannes gold lion.

The commercial was created by Vince Squibb, Jason Lawes and Sam Cartmell and produced by Charles Crisp. It was directed by Ivan Zacharias through Stink and involved a ten day shoot in the Czech Republic. The dogfight scene was created with replica First World War planes flown by the aeronautical experts of Bianchi Aviation and with stunt coordination by Jaroslav Kolman. Post production and special effects were by Glassworks, Grading by Seamus Keane at VTR. The music was composed by Anne Dudley.
