Barry Willis shoots people. His work spans the design, advertising, editorial and corporate sectors, producing powerful and engaging imagery that always strives towards an empathy with the subject.

Recent commercial projects have included shoots for Action for Children, BP, Castrol, CLIC Sargent and Goldman Sachs, amongst others.

His on-going work for CLIC Sargent documents the stories of children that have been diagnosed with cancer, the effects on their families and the support they receive from their carers.

Barry’s interest in the moving image has been reflected in a number of personal projects and he is now producing video commissions, most recently for PGL and CLIC Sargent. ''I love how technology has democratised the moving image. Directing video is now just a logical extension to shooting stills.''
