• The Underwire Festival, celebrating short films by women, will take place from 20th to 22nd November.
• The Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize presents the very best in contemporary portrait photography from12th November at the National Portrait Gallery in London.
• A year ago this month Robert Wilson’s 'Helmand Return' images were displayed on billboards throughout the UK to coincide with British troop withdrawal from Afghanistan. The exhibition presented by Gallery One and a Half continues at National Museums Scotland until March 2016.
