Andres Hernandez was born in Medellin, Colombia, where he developed an early interest in the visual arts. His curiosity for photography began with his father’s camera, continuing during college where he graduated top of his class at the Art Institute of Medellin with a BA in Advertising. He moved to the United States to begin his career as a Graphic Web Designer.

Working between Washington DC and Miami, Andres developed an excellent reputation for outstanding design and photo retouching skills as well as his personal style and talent as a photographer. Specialising in photographing people and lifestyle images for advertising and editorial clients, Andres’ narrative style is recognised as vibrant and colourful.

Andres currently resides between Miami and New York and is becoming one of the leading advertising and editorial photographers. His images have been featured in art exhibitions, billboards and magazines in the US, Europe, Asia and Latin America.
