- The Cannes Film Festival, 12th - 23rd May, triggers related events in the capital, with Directors' Fortnight - La Quinzaine des Réalisateurs - featuring films shown at the preceding Cannes Festival screened at the Forum des Images at the end of May through the beginning of June.
- The World Press Photo exhibition runs between 27th May and 17th June at the Azzedine Alaïa gallery.
