"When taking photographs, I am always looking for images with documentary interest, which stir emotions and make a connection. This can be difficult to achieve when contriving a still life from scratch; the emotional response springs from the lighting and great subjects begin to tell stories.   In the photographic moment, my documentary side keeps me on my toes, awaiting opportunity and my commercial experience gives me directive and technical expertise. Together they are driving my work forward and helping achieve my goals to create high-quality images."
