Food has always been an integral part of Kris Kirkham’s life - from growing up on a farm, to working for 15 years as s a chef, to his present job with over nine years' experience as a London-based food and drink photographer.

Kris works on a range of shoots including packaging, advertising and editorial. He creates beautiful colourful images where his love of food clearly shows.

Recent clients include Nando’s, M&S, Lidl UK, Heathrow Airport, Byron Burger, Good Housekeeping, Waitrose Kitchen, Sainsbury’s Magazine, WeightWatchers, and many others.

Images in this Spotlight are from 'Jeremy Pang’s Hong Kong Diner', one of Kris’ most recently published cookbooks.

Kris was delighted to be a finalist in this year’s Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year Awards for his image of Paprika Octopus as well as having two images in the 'Highly Commended' category.
