A modern skyline, a financial district, downtown Manhattan, La Défense or an urban canyon, Buenos Aires is still one of the most versatile cities in the location calendar.
Although best known for its early 20th Century European-inspired architecture, a generation of modernist buildings has also spawned in the Argentine capital, from rationalist formalism to curtain walls to brutalist hard lines.
Arqi, a new app dedicated to Architecture in Argentina, was developed by the Sociedad Central de Arquitectos | SCA and the Museo de Arquitectura y Diseño | MARQ. It was created with patronage from the Ministerio de Cultura de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires and is available for iOS and Android.
