The Bahamas is an archipelago of 700 islands to the south east of Florida, of which 17 are major island markets. The total sea area of the islands is 100,000 square miles.

Eleuthera including Harbour Island is a major draw for productions and are BDS’s primary locations. BDS's associated company has premium beachfront accommodations which have housed productions with Tyler Perry, CeeLo Green, Neiman Marcus and Meskita Fashion.

The company's mobile operation allows productions to be set up in all the major islands serviced by regular freight boats and include Freeport, Abaco, Andros, Exuma, Bimini, Long and Cat Island. BDS’s managing producer is Jonathan Simms, a Bahamas national who has worked with productions in the islands for the past 20 years.

Services include production, location scouting, equipment rentals (still and motion), specialty production vehicles, photographic services, set build outs and marine craft.
