Danil Golovkin left his career as an art director in a leading advertising agency to become a photographer in the spring of 2007.

Before starting his art direction career Danil had painted and worked in graphic arts, with successful exhibitions in Moscow, Berlin and Glasgow.

Constantly experimenting with his style and vision, Danil has successfully worked in fashion, advertising and portrait photography, collaborating with leading editorials including Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Elle, GQ, InStyle, Glamour, L'Officiel, WallPaper and Marie Claire.
