Ruprecht Stempell

Cologne - Berlin

Boxing world champions and international film actors; Ruprecht Stempell photographs stars from the world of sport, film, fashion and showbiz. His images show the person behind the celebrity facade in a sensitive manner. Based between Berlin, Cologne and Hamburg and working internationally, he recently photographed David Haye and Wladimir Klitschko during the Boxing World Championships. 

Ruprecht is also booked for commercial campaigns in which the perfect portrait is demanded. Clients include Hyundai Germany, RTL Television and AOK Germany.

Ruprecht's personal focus is on charity projects and reports. For many years he traveled to some of the poorest countries in the world to report on aid projects, working alongside Oliver Bierhoff in Brazil, Rosi Mittermaier in Nepal, and creating impressive picture series on child poverty, hunger and suffering from the slums of the developing world.

Celebrities include Heidi Klum, Michael Schumacher, Bud Spencer, Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko, Günther Jauch, Otto Waalkes, Charlotte Roche, Sonja Zietlow, Dirk Bach, Jurgen Klinsmann and Henry Maske.
