Born in 1964 in Hamburg, he studied architecture in Darmstadt and photo design in Dortmund.
Since 1990 he has worked as a freelance photographer in editorial and advertisement.
His view and the sense of space is certainly influenced through his architectural studies.
His special passion for capturing motion is based on his long lasting cooperation with the choreographer William Forsythe, which started in 1990.
Dominik lives in Frankfurt am Main and runs his own studio.
