The latest additions to the agency's roster are talented duo Anoush & Aimee, both highly acclaimed in fashion and portrait photography.

Avocado announces its latest new addition, photographer Claudia Goetzelmann. A native German, Claudia is based in San Francisco, California. "I like to draw-in the viewer with a subtle twist, multiple layers of meaning, and visual wit," she says. Her range of clients varies from editors and direct clients to design houses, advertising agencies and multinational corporations.

Avocado has opened an office in China. A young motivated Swiss native, Philip Diserens, is running Avocado in Shanghai.

• Photographers: Valerio Spada (Milan) and Marcus Noessing (Berlin) recently joined the company's portfolio. Xander Ferreira shot for Shoe Mart, Sandro Diener for Migros Magazine, Sandi Kozjek for Zurich Financial Services, and Christina Surer featured for client SVV with Christoph Läser.
• Productions: Mel Y Mel produced a new winter campaign for SUVA with photographer Oliver Nanzig. The company recently returned from a production in Cape Town for Touring Club Switzerland with photographer Caspar Martig. The results will be online by the end of March.
  
• Mel Y Mel, together with the What If The World gallery, will be showing work by South African photographer Xander Ferreira in the exhibition 'The Status of Greatness' during ART Basel, and afterwards at a venue in Zurich.

Sandra Seckinger is looking forward to being directly represented in Switzerland by Marlies Lanker. She is currently presenting two portfolios, one featuring lifestyle work and the other kids and babies.

Her latest work includes a new campaign for Fenistil with Saatchi&Saatchi (Geneva), and a campaign for Italian brand Chicco with art director Barbara Capponi from Saatchi&Saatchi (Rome). For both productions, Markus Dettweiler from Blink-Imaging handled digtal support and post production.

Seb Michel presents his latest fashion shoot, in collaboration with Audemars Piguet, for Bilan Luxes Magazine.

Christoph Läser's recent work includes campaigns and ads for Kimberley-Clark, Boehringer-Ingelheim, SVV (featuring Christina Surer), the Gebert-Rüf Foundation, SBB Regional Traffic and Feldschlösschen.

He also contributed images to a promotional booklet by X-Ray, a specialist advertising agency currently expanding its portfolio beyond health care.

Christoph Läser is represented in Switzerland by MelyMel and in Germany by Andrea Heberger.

2009 has already proved successful for photographer Günther Kathrein, with diverse campaigns including:

• The worldwide 'Leg & Bodywear' campaign for Giorgio Armani.

• A global campaign for Odlo International.

• A 'Swim & Beachwear' campaign for Monica Gilford.

In this Showcase, Bruno Rubatscher presents the annual report and Bachelor documentation work he recently completed for the University of Luzern, as well as his project for the Lurzern Academy (University of Applied Sciences and Arts).

Scout Model Agency Zurich recently expanded into a brand new sector. Building on last year's hugely successful launch of its people division, the company has developed a large size 'big beauties' division of models, with three highly successful international talents leading the way.

Scout's Swiss girls also continue on the road to success:

• Julia Schweizer is currently extremely busy travelling throughout Europe to complete a number of back-to-back shoots. She also features in the latest Marie Claire UK and Calle 21 Spain.
• Like always, Sabine Heierli, the company's "classic beauty", is highly in demand. Clients include Kost, Loeb, Marionnaud and Balisto.

Many of Scout's Swiss male models are beginning to make their names in the international market, including Diego Krauss, Nico Schürch, Dominic Meyer, Philippe Wyder, Yannik Zamboni and Alexander von Glasow.

Featured in this Showcase are making-of images from the latest Rolex TV spot and the new Nationale Suisse campaign, both featuring tennis star Roger Federer.

Ruth was responsible for organising 30 different outfits (from names including Tom Ford, Dolce & Gabbana, Prada, etc.) for Roger Federer to wear in the Nationale Suisse shoot, as well as the casting and styling for 24 new models. Photographer: Marc Gysin.

She was Roger Federer's exclusive stylist for the Rolex spot.

Ruth also completed styling and casting jobs for AXA Winterthur, Post Mail and Sonova.
