After living in Paris, Stanislav Merhout returned to Prague from where he has built his career as an independent fashion and advertising photographer.

Stanislav is one of Elle magazine's key photographers and regulalry contributes fashion and beauty editorials. He also works for In Style and Dolce Vita, the leading fashion and design magazine in the Czech Republic.

He loves photographing advertising projects and recently collaborated with Italian agency MPG on a Mattoni campaign starring top model Hana Soukupova. Only a few weeks ago he shot a Panasonic campaign with Brave Agency London, as well as Nike and Oriflame campaigns.

Photographer and conceptual artist Jan Rambousek has a background in high-end post production, CGI and design. He regularly helps agencies to visualize their ideas and can manage the entire process, from initial brainstorming through to final realization and post production.

Jan recently completed international campaigns for Turkcell, Puma, T-Mobile, Vodafone, Heineken and Pernod Ricard. Among his latest awards is a Crystal Apple, the most prestigious advertising award in Turkey.

The feature-length documentary 'Nebe, Peklo' is due to be completed by the end of March. The company will also shortly commence post production for a film about filmmaker Josef, due to be screened in June.

Edit Sliacka is a young and ambitious Prague-based illustrator who specialises in children's books, advertising, fashion and lifestyle illustration.

Edit has worked with agencies including McCann-Erickson and WLB, as well as clients such as O2, Orange and ING. She has also developed projects for Slovakian and Czech children's and fashion magazines and has illustrated several children's books in collaboration with Slovak, Czech, Portuguese and French publishers.

Tereza Patockova's ability to capture beautiful moments with her versatility, imagination, creativity and art has resulted in eight years of solid experience as a make-up artist.

Marie Šechtlová: The Photographs, 1960-1970.

Marie Šechtlová, nee Kokešová (1928 - 2008), entered the cultural scene when she was 20 by marrying into a renowned photographic family that had been systematically documenting life in Tábor from the end of the 19th century. She started her own artistic career towards the end of the 1950s.

The photographs in this latest exhibition were chosen to highlight what is considered the greatest breakthrough between photography and art; the connection between an instant snapshot and an overall artistic vision.
