ADC, Art Directors Club New York art direction

Established in 1996, ADC Young Guns is the only global, cross-disciplinary portfolio competition that identifies today’s vanguard of young creative professionals. Now in it’s 9th cycle, ADC Young Guns has evolved into more than a competition - it has become a network of the best emerging and established talent working in the commercial arts today.

Participants enter a body of work to be reviewed by a jury of past ADC Young Guns winners. 50 creatives are chosen to join the ranks each year. Selected pieces from the winning portfolios are showcased in a limited edition book, an exhibition at the ADC gallery, a global travelling exhibition, and in the ADC’s permanent online archive. Winners also claim the ADC Young Guns Cube, redesigned each year for the incoming class.

The competition is held annually and remains open to professionals age 30 or under who have at least two years of professional experience. All proceeds fund ADC programmes and scholarships.
