Studio 1342 is a centrally located 3,500 sq.ft. boutique daylight studio with gated privacy. 40’ of west facing windows and four large skylights provide ample natural light, but the studio also features full black out capabilities. Adjacent to the window is a 16’ cyc wall.

The studio is equipped with a full kitchen, full bath, make-up and dressing area, client lounge, 300 amps, and has a Bates stage pin. A large 10x10’ frosted glass roll-up door for loading in equipment leads outside to a newly landscaped 5,000 sq.ft. courtyard and garden.

The entire facility is great as a location for events, photography, film and video shoots. 

Donald Graham is an internationally recognised portrait and fashion photographer who works in the worlds of fashion, movies, music, magazines and advertising.

His work is in the permanent collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and the International Center of Photography. His photographs have appeared in over 500 publications worldwide, including Vogue, Vanity Fair, Time and Sports Illustrated and he has done ad campaigns for numerous Fortune 500 companies. He has recently begun making films and commercials.

Josue Pena is an international photographer who creates characteristic images by combining clear aesthetics with a genuine commercial sense and the minutest attention to detail.  

His work has been published in numerous magazines including Harper's Bazaar Latin America, Cosmopolitan, OK Magazine, 944, CinePremier,  Vice, InStyle and InFashion.

Some of his most recent clients include Ximena Valero, Eva Franco, Just Aurelio and Requisite, among many others.

Ian White loves collecting people. Whether it’s the famous or the infamous, the prominent or the obscure, he seems to have a way of capturing the essence of his subjects. His use of colour and graphic composition make his images arresting and his subjects' presence immediate.

Ian has photographed for some of the most esteemed clients in publishing. Editorially, his images have graced the pages of over 60 magazines worldwide, including Wired, ESPN, Newsweek, People, Time, The New York Times, Hola and Der Spiegel. Brazilian-born fashion photographer Caesar Lima has always had an eye for the creative. As a self proclaimed “non-purist”, his photography calls to mind imagery that sits somewhat outside of the box. 

A master at depicting unique and captivating subject matter, Caesar’s inspiration is derived from a singular drive to push the limits and evoke emotion through innovative photography and design.

International photographer Tracey Morris is credited most for her captivating work in the fashion industry. Based in both New York and Los Angeles, Tracey has shot for high fashion, beauty and celebrity clients around the world. 

“For me, an amazing fashion image is one that is unexpected. Emotion is the key that I pull from my subjects that allows for that unexpected moment. Ultimately, fashion is limitless.” 

Tracey’s passion in life is her photography and her remarkable ability for composition comes from within. She lives for emotion and movement of feeling, and this perspective enables her to captivate and seize that unexpected moment that people live for.

Anthony began mentally creating images at an early age, but it wasn’t until a skateboard accident in high school that he began to commit those images to film. His first submission was on the photo editor's desk at Skateboarder Magazine by the time the stitches and casts came off.

At first, he specialised in still life work but found himself photographing kids more and more: "I have been fortunate to have some pretty diverse clients over the years, and that has allowed me to satisfy my passion for shooting a wide range of subjects, from kids to portraits to products. A strong influence in my work is a sense of wonder, which I keep in shape as the parent of a son who constantly amazes me."

Anthony believes the key to a successful shoot is solid preparation, keeping yourself open to collaboration, and above all, having a sense of humour.

He has lived on the westside of Los Angeles his entire life and he has also travelled the world, spending a considerable amount of time in Africa, Asia, the Americas and the South Pacific.

"I still skate the occasional empty pool - only now, I wear a helmet."

A native of the San Francisco Bay area, Mark Leibowitz graduated from Stanford University and lived in Spain and Brazil before making his move to Los Angeles. His photography and film work blends fashion and documentary styles.

Recent projects include backstage coverage of the fashion shows in New York, Milan and Paris, 30 days of shooting for a coffee table book on South Africa, and a documentary film that explores ethical fashion practices around the world. He also works selectively for magazines including Glamour, Marie Claire, Surface, Teen Vogue and Condé Nast Traveler.

Carla Richmond is a freelance photographer currently based out of her suitcase. Drawn to the study and observation of people and their roots, she has taken to the road to do the very urgent work of capturing the everyday spectacular people and places often passed on the street.

Carla holds a BA in Sociology from Boston College and graduated with honours from the New England School of Photography. She is best known for her portraits of people and environments.

LA-based photographer Lauren Keskinel took the long road to photography and her work reflects the vast array of experiences that have led her there.

With a background in film production, a degree in International Development and an affinity for sports and travel, she feels comfortable in almost any scenario. Being able to connect with the people she shoots, whether entertainers, athletes or everyday people, helps push the envelope and create the bold, in-your-face style she is known for.

Lauren's work has recently been recognised through numerous awards, including the 2011 APA Awards and PDN’s Photobook Cali. She also won a student award in the APA contest.

Since the age of 10, Jill Greenberg has staged photographs and created characters using the mediums of drawing, painting, sculpture, film and photography.

She is known worldwide for her uniquely human animal portraits which intentionally anthropomorphise her subjects, as well as her infamous series 'End Times'. Her newest work marks a return to the post-modern feminist theory that inspired her senior thesis, 'The Female Object' as an art student at RISD in the 80s: “The disciplinary project of femininity” and the predetermined failure of all women who attempt to “succeed” at it. 'Glass Ceiling' will be a featured exhibition at the Scotiabank Contact Photo Festival in Toronto during April.

Jill also recently won in the personal/fine art category of the APA contest.

Born in Los Angeles, Tony Minas' imagery explores photography's capacity for narrative expression. After graduating from University with a degree in music, he spent a year abroad in Germany. It was there that he first began to explore his visual consciousness. 

On returning to California, Tony immersed himself in the study of photography and art. Inspired largely by times past, his aesthetic world is a far cry from the moderntiy of the city in which he grew up. He looks to literature, history, fashion, art, film, music and everyday life for new ideas. He appreciates that inspiration can often be found in the mundane.
