NYC Fotoworks New York media associations

Everyone knows the value of a personal connection when it comes to getting work and standing out for that next ad campaign or assignment. NYCFotoWorks has made that personal connection the centerpiece of its Artists In Motion Portfolio Review. Designed specifically for professional photographers and videographers, the Review brings an unprecedented list of art buyers, creative directors, editors, agents, galleries and designers together for three days to meet one-on-one with professional photographers and videographers.

All artists are pre-screened to ensure an exclusively professional event. Once accepted, the artists choose how many meetings they'd like to have and request the reviewers they wish to meet with.

Martin Dyrlov, a professional photographer from Denmark who has attended the last two NYCFotoWorks' events, had this to say:

“NYCFotoWorks was a huge success! After five meetings on the first day, my career took a complete change. Flying in from Denmark, this was initially a long shot, but it was really worth the trip. I got some exciting jobs from around the world, met other photographers and got a new agent.”

The Artists In Motion Portfolio Review runs in New York City from 19 - 21 June.
