PLC International London commercial production

Chelsea-based production company PLC provides production services, location finding and management, casting and styling.

Julia Griffiths, who set the company up seven years ago, says that projects "range from the completely bizarre to the highly commercial, making every day different". She says that her young, dynamic team were specially recruited for their positive attitude and because the word 'no' is never an option.

Although an embargo on current commercial images means that, in this edition, we can show work only from his personal project, we are pleased to report that Lorentz Gullachsen continues to be very busy:

  • Shooting in UK, Italy, Germany, France and Switzerland for Y&R Geneva
  • Hackney Marshes and Emirates stadium were the location for his AIS shoot for 02
Regarding his personal project, Gullachsen says 'Cornwall is the place I often find myself. Shooting a personal project, I aim to finish in 2010 if the sea has not moved to Devon, in which case I may change location, or be surfing on Dartmoor...'

Andy Tommo London advertising photographers

Johnny Carr Photography London advertising photographers

Johnny Carr has been shooting advertising campaigns since the early 90s, working for clients and agencies worldwide. His work has appeared on all media, from 96 sheets to beer mats - the latter being for a Seabrook's Crisps campaign featuring shots of Captain Sensible.

Carr Moving Image, a full production facility, was created as a result of his Johnny's "ability to compose moving imagery and create a continual light source that retains the meticulous detail of his stills shoots",making the transition between stills and moving imagery seamless.

The firm has an in-house post production suite and motion graphics artists who can create the latest imagery. In addition, Carr Moving Image has crews throughout the UK, which means they can produce, shoot, edit and deliver jobs of any size and complexity.

Harniman continues shooting location and studio cars, landscapes, people and he continues to work with CGI.

Allan McPhail London advertising photographers

Allan McPhail has just finished shooting the VW Eos Convertible spring campaign for DDB in Milan. The image here, showing the Eos driving along a winding road through a stunning landscape, is posted 66 metres high on the side of the Garibaldi Building overlooking Milan's Central Station.

Returning to Le Marche Province in Italy, Allan continues his personal project, photographing the people and the places of this majestic landscape.

Process London photo agents

2006 saw Process celebrate its fifth birthday, with all their photographers busy and shooting into 2007.

Louisa Parry has been busy with the Cadbury Creme Egg poster campaign for Publicis, press campaigns for Nestlé and shooting for Sony with WWAV and the upcoming Ariel campaign with Saatchi.

Bill Robinson has racked up his air miles flying around the world shooting the Ernst & Young Annual Report for Salter Baxter. He continues to be busy, with trips to the US and Europe in the diary.

Gareth Sambidge has been staying local, in his daylight studio in South East London. Currently shooting for Weber BBQs, he continues to keep Asda, Tesco and Sainsburys happy with his modern graphic style.

Dylan Collard shot for Café Crème with Joshua in Madrid and in London for Leo Burnett Italia, where he shot the oh-so-British Hotpoint cooker.

Newcomer Rainer Elsterman has been shooting for Saatchi & Saatchi in New York and creating some stunning shots for the UK's 125 magazine.

Howard Kingsnorth London advertising photographers

Howard Kingsnorth has been shooting campaigns since the mid 1980's. His specialities are landscape, advertising, sport and locomotive photography.

His work has been described as "evocative, creative and involving". Ad agencies appreciate his depth of experience and knowledge of the creative business. This gives advertising creatives the reassurance that their concepts will not be diluted and that they will be executed the way they envisioned.

Howard works from a studio base in central London and has experience of working around the world.

Dean Belcher Photography London advertising photographers

Dean Belcher has had recent commissions for Matalan, Legal & General, Hodder Headline and Grazia as well as BT through design group SAS.

His collaboration with record label Global Underground continues and in January, he went to Mexico City to photograph dj/producer Adam Freeland.

The "mods project" keeps him busy between commissions, and he says there are good things on the horizon concerning this in the summer. Other forthcoming projects include shoots for yell.com and another trip to Rio with Global Underground.

Paul Webster London food & drink photographers

Paul Webster is considered one of London's leading food photographers and says he still enjoys new challenges.

Earlier this month, he exhibited some of his manipulated images at 'Form', the design exhibition at London's Olympia. The chillies and artichokes featured here are from the exhibition.

Paul's work over the years includes shoots for all the major UK supermarkets and food suppliers. His most recent work was for Slimfast, Waitrose, Tussauds, World Duty Free and location shoots for Abbaye de la Bussiere near Dijon and Amberley Castle, Sussex.

His new daylight garden studio is close to Hammersmith Bridge in London.

Patrice de Villiers is currently shooting with TBWA for Muller, with a second M&S shoot in the pipeline.

Simon Mills has just been commissioned to shoot a campaign for BT through AMV/BBDO and has recently come back from a Spanish recce with a shot of Benidorm that makes it look... well... classy.

Chris Bailey, already known for his black on black, has just finished a beautiful personal range of white on white studio cars.

Andy Nickerson has just put together a new still life portfolio - if you like quirky, call for his book!

And last but not least, ever the adventurer, Stuart Hall's latest project sees him getting up close and personal to temperamental volcanos in Costa Rica.

The Photographer's Gallery London photo events

Walid Raad /The Atlas Group (b. 1967, Lebanon), has been awarded the Deutsche Börse Photography Prize for 2007.

The prize value is £30,000 and is awarded to one of the four short listed international photographers (Philippe Chancel, Anders Petersen, Fiona Tan and The Atlas Group) for their significant contribution to the medium of photography in Europe between 1 October 2005 and 30 September 2006.

The prize is presented by The Photographers' Gallery and the exhibition continues until 9 April 2007.
