With 15 years of industry experience, Dean Tirkot has enjoyed dedicating his career to creating engaging and entertaining photographic works that entice and inspire the viewer. Specialising in portraiture and lifestyle photography, he has worked hard to define his unique and surreal character driven style.

What separates Dean from the competition is his ability to explore old and new techniques to achieve his final product, a method that has earned him the reputation of being a true craftsman as both a master photographer and Photoshop retoucher.

In 2007 Dean won a 'Highly Commended' award in the Doug Moran portraiture prize. In 2009 he was again a finalist in the Doug Moran prize and also the Sydney Life exhibition. This year Dean has been listed in the Graphis Photo annual.

Dean recently shot the latest Rip Curl Denim campaign and made two 90-second video clips for the company. Other recent clients include Skull Candy, Oakley, Surf Dive & Ski and Rockstar Energy Drinks.
