"To communicate something real you don't have to say much. You simply need to capture something that has the power to move and enrapture on its own. To be real, it must speak for itself. This is my motivation in photography; capturing what is honest. Rendering photos that characterise a space and atmosphere that speak of what simply is. This is the only way I can conceive of creating something real and doing it with pleasure, enjoyment and emotion and the only way to arrive at an outcome that I am content with."

Zoe Adlersberg New York - Paris

Zoe Adlersberg began her career in photography 14 years ago after cutting her teeth in advertising, while working at Kirschenbaum and Bond. She focused her talents on shooting fashion and portraiture until the birth of her first child, Uma, in 2007.

Motherhood changed Zoe's artistic perspective and focus, and she decided to explore the world of children's fashion photography, where she has had great success over the past several years.

On shooting children, Zoe says,"I adore being able to work with my team to create a cinematic idea and story with children. They really get into the roles and it feels more like play than work. Some photographers get frustrated shooting kids, but if you let them be themselves, everyone can have a blast!".

Zoe's editorial clients include Interview, Nylon, Marie Claire, Kid-In, Milk and Cookie, Pirouette and her commercial clients range from Tuchinda and EGG by Susan Lazar to Mabo and CHaLK NYC.

Zoe is currently working on a personal project that showcases the transition from woman to mother and she is based in both Paris and New York.
