Chicago: Brian Wetzstein advertising photographers

Brian Wetzstein is a food and beverage photographer specialising in both advertising and editorial assignments. Based in Chicago, USA, he is fully equipped to travel anywhere in the world for an assignment.

Previously he has shot food and product images for companies including McDonald's, Quaker, Bunn, Pil and Weeks Publishing. Brian likes to vary the focus of each shot he takes in order to create styled and imaginative work. 

Brian runs his own studio in Chicago's South Loop, where he surrounds himself with assistants, stylists and designers. His studio includes a new refurbished kitchen, designed with a food stylist's needs in mind, including two touch screen monitors to view what's in camera from the kitchen.

Chris Alack has specialised in food photography for the past 15 years. His own great passion for food is reflected in his pictures.

Diana Miller began her career in photography in the 1980's. Working from her studio in Holland Park, London, she has been commissioned to shoot stylish food photography for advertising, packaging, books and PR.

Munich: Dörre Fotodesign advertising photographers

Hermann Dörre is based in Munich, Germany. Specialising in food and stills photography, he is a member of the BFF (Bund Freischaffender Foto-Designer) association.

He converted to digital photography in 1998. Working from his studio, he currently uses Sinar camera systems and Broncolor lighting.

His studio also features in-house retouching and post-production facilities.

Hermann's work has won many awards, including his 2007 food calendar for the Huber Group, specialists in offset printing inks.

London: Duncan Loughrey advertising photographers

Duncan Loughrey is a well-established food, drink and still life photographer, with over 20 years' experience.

Sao Paulo: Stela Morato advertising photographers

With a degree in architecture from the Universidade de São Paulo, Stela Morato's proximity to photography comes from four generations of Italian-Brazilian filmmakers. Her passion for gastronomy was born in her Tuscan grandparents' kitchen and fed by constant trips to open markets in search of the perfect ingredients.

Specialised in studio photography and cinema lighting, Stela has worked with large and medium scale productions, leading her to fund her own studio in 1985. The installations were built with cooking facilities in mind.

When she is not taking photos, she coordinates production of food for advertising films and writes about gastronomy and travel for a range of magazines. Kids and animals are a favourite subject of her work.

Tim and Zoe Hill have just returned to their London studio from Tuscany.

It seems that for Tim and Zoe the Chicken definitely came before the egg, as they are currently shooting duck eggs on bread, and their last job before going away was a barbecue chicken shoot for an Egyptian client.

Tony Briscoe is a food and lifestyle photographer. Predominantly Tony works from his Central London studio; however he has recently completed a variety of location shoots, including one on the beach in Sussex for Weight Watcher's magazine.

Recently Tony has completed shooting former World Cup England rugby star Matt Dawson's first cook book, entitled Matt Dawson. Fresh. Simple. Tasty. Matt Dawson was also the winner of the BBC's Celebrity Master Chef programme, and in his first book, on sale from October, he brings to life his passion and love of food.
