David Oliver’s main objective (after giving the client what they want), is to make the whole photographic experience as easy as possible for his sitters. And to that end, he believes he gets relaxed and natural photographs from everyday people.

David delivers an extraordinarily natural collection of images (within the workplace) from normal office workers. His unobtrusive style allows him to enter into people's environments to the point that they almost forget he is there, permitting him to create images that express genuine character and emotional warmth.

Jens Görlich is based out of Frankfurt and works worldwide in the areas of transportation, landscape and people photography for agencies, magazines and direct clients. The photo series presented in this Spotlight was shot in California for Lufthansa AG.

It was a logistic challenge to photograph the backgrounds and surroundings in such a way that the brand new Boeing could be subsequently added to the compositions  in a convincing way using CGI-technology. Through advance test-renderings, artificially generated 3D desert landscapes and, not least, through Jens’ extensive experience with aircraft and CGI-applications, the client’s approved layout was precisely executed.

During the course of the last year, Jens was also on location at Boeing in Seattle to document the development of the new Jumbo. The photos are featured in the current Lufthansa Magazine Special Edition 747-8 'Experience the Legend', as well as on Jens’ newly re-designed homepage.

Katja Velmans is a Dusseldorf-based photographer who caters to corporate, portraiture and still life clients. She joined von Loewenstern Fotografenagentur this year.

Tim Motion is London-based and has 25 years specialist experience in aerial photography, working from helicopters, planes and hot air balloons to supply high quality, high resolution images to the corporate and editorial sectors.

His main work is centred in London but he has covered assignments in France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Portugal, Latvia, the USA, Antigua and the Sahara desert.
