Pete Slaney photos London

"Being a new kid on the block I’m finding my place in the world of commercial photography. But for the time being I deliver creative and artful images to the commercial, editorial and advertising industries, concentrating on people in working environments and fine art commercial portraiture. Based in Sheffield, UK, I will take on projects local, national and global.

"Recent projects have included capturing rangers processing woodlands for The National Trust, re-branding the imagery of a heavy plant organisation and introducing fine art portraiture to the British school system. The funny thing is that they have all asked me back for more, so I must be doing something right.

"Part of my job is to get dirty and to take the studio out into the field… it’s the only way. I’m not afraid of working in any type of environment to capture what your brand is trying to say and to offer your clients plenty of beautiful eye candy."

Philip Gatward London

"For over 10 years I have been capturing the confidence and mood of business leaders in both the UK and Europe with my corporate photography. My experience shows in my work which is always efficient, always fresh and sometimes award-winning."

Recent projects include Oxford Biomedical 'We believe' film (Client - ThinkerDoer) with director and special effects by Philip Gatward: "I'm really excited about the crossover of stills and moving imagery. Due to the technical difficulty in shooting in a totally sterile lab environment, I combined original moving footage with stills, subtly animated to get full use of this amazing location."

Russ Schleipman Boston

As a kid, Russ Schleipman spent a good amount of time looking at his back yard through a viewfinder. He still does, but the back yard has no borders now, and he doesn’t always come home for dinner. His curiosity has pulled him to every corner of the planet. The images he brings home are the treasures he is most pleased to find.

With the eye of a designer, his images are bold and graphic, testimony to his  acute sense of composition. Russ feels there is no middle ground: it’s right or it’s not. He strives to ease, delight and surprise the viewer’s eye, and to merit the highest of compliments, which is that an image is painterly.

His work has taken him to all the warm continents. Africa has seduced him on many occasions, as have China and France. The French Government Tourist Board is a favourite client. The cold continents are also high on his list.
