    Gloss Postproduction is opening up its doors to all creatives, photographers and producers in Los Angeles in January 2012. Their office is based at 1453 Centinela Avenue, Santa Monica.

    A new website will be launched in January 2012 and there are many more things to come, so stay tuned.

    • Intel campaign for Venables, Bell & Partners. Shot by Frank Uyttenhoven, c/o Tim Mitchell. Retouched on location in LA and finalised in NYC.
    • Gillette campaign for BBDO New York. Photographer Sacha Waldman, c/o L/L Reps, shot all 24 different looks that were composed onto the same face.
    • Jeff Ludes, c/o Fox Creatives, shot the new Honda CR-V brochure for RPA Los Angeles. Retouched on location in LA and finalised in NYC.
    • Armin Morbach shot various images for Schwarzkopf.
    • Jeff Ludes, c/o Fox Creatives, shot the US print campaign for the launch of the new Porsche Panamera with creative agency C-K Chicago.
    • Josh Dalsimer shot the campaign for the new Dell Mini in NYC for creative agency Mother.

    Latest work from Gloss Postproduction:

    • Together with art producer Justine Shockett and photographer Thomas Rusch, c/o ArtWing NY, Gloss Postproduction created the final retouch and look for the new Ray-Ban 'Colorize' worldwide campaign.
    • Gloss retouched all 10 ads photographed by Frank Uyttenhove, c/o Tim Mitchell, for the 'My playroom/Intel playroom' campaign shot in LA. Retouching started on location at at the Gloss satellite studio in LA and was finalised in NYC.

    Gloss Postproduction recently finished a Dell campaign with photographer Joshua Dalsimer, c/o SweetGenius, for Mother NYC, as well as a cover shot for the new VW Touareg brochure with Bill Cash for agency Crispin, Porter + Bogusky.

    The Gloss team is currently working on a Gillette campaign for BBDO New York, shot by Sasha Waldman, c/o LLReps. This follows on from a previous three-ad campaign for Gillette and BBDO shot by Brad Harris, c/o VH Artists. The images will soon feature on Production Paradise and the company's website.

    • Photographer Jeff Ludes (c/o FoxCreatives) shot the campaign for Toyota RAV4 for the Intertrend agency in LA.
    • Simon Puschmann (c/o Tim Mitchell) shot the Lexus RX brochure for TeamOne in LA. The Gloss team was on location during the shoot to speed-up the process and finalized the remaining images in the studio in NYC.
    • The new Insight Hybrid from Honda made its production debut in Detroit at the North American International Auto Show. Jeff Ludes shot the brochure last year across the United States through the RPA agency in Los Angeles.
    • Gloss is currently finishing up a Ray-Ban campaign with Thomas Rusch (c/o ArtWing NY) for the Cutwater agency in San Francisco.

    Gloss is launching a new website in February 2009.

    The retouchers at Gloss have been busy between NYC and LA working on location for several campaigns. Latest news includes:

    • VW Beetle brochure, with Oliver Paffrath for CPB Group Boulder.
    • Acura MDX campaign, with Olaf Hauschulz for RPA Los Angeles.
    • Acura TL campaign, with Olaf Hauschulz for RPA Los Angeles.

    • PS3 Resist game campaign for DEUTSCH Los Angeles.
    • VW CC campaign, with Oliver Paffrath for CPB Group Boulder.

    Gloss is currently finishing up a project with Jeff Ludes for RPA Los Angeles and a print campaign entitled 'Aflac' for The Kaplan Thaler Group New York. Look out for the latest campaigns for Ray.Ban with Thomas Rusch and Toyota RAV4 with Jeff Ludes coming early in 2009.

    Gloss Postproduction

    The CGI team in NYC worked closely with photographer Joseph Cultice and Walt Disney to create the cover for the Jonas Brothers' new album that hit stores this August. The 1950s Times Square background was created from scratch in CGI, based on old maps and photographs. The Gloss 2D team in NYC was also responsible for the final look and feel. Other recent news:
    • Garry Owens shot the Victory Motorcycles brochure for the company's 10th anniversary and new 2009 product line.
    • For Esprit spring/summer 2008, Gloss worked on location in Los Angeles with photographer Esther Haase on over 100 images for print ads, POS and cabs all over NYC and the USA.
    • Oliver Paffrath shot the launch campaign for the Hyundai G36 for agency Goodby, Silverstein & Partners.
    • VW Beetle brochure for Crispin, Porter + Bogusky Boulder, Miami, with photographer Oliver Paffrath.
    • Microsoft campaign for Crispin, Porter + Bogusky Boulder with Olaf Hauschulz.

    Gloss Postproduction

    In the last couple of months Gloss has expanded and moved into its new location on 35 W31st Street, Suite 901, New York. The company's next step for 2008 will be a studio in Los Angeles - the address will be announced on the website soon.

    In the March issue of PDN there will be an article about Gloss postproduction - check it out!

    Current work includes a project for the new Toyota Corolla catalogue with Thomas Strogalski for Saatchi&Saatchi, LA. The current campaign has also been retouched by Gloss with photographer Oliver Paffrath for Burrell/Chicago.

    Gloss NYC also offers CGI: featured in this Showcase is one of the company's latest projects with Kai-Uwe Gundlach for BMW Magazine.

    In the six months since Gloss Postproduction opened their doors to photographers and creative professionals in New York City, they have realized several major campaigns for the US market.

    Their current project is for the INFINITI G Coupe launch campaign, that features billboards all over Manhattan and the US.

    Together with the creative team from TBWA\Chiat\Day Los Angeles, and photographer Olaf Hauschulz, the company again created a unique new-look for the INFINITI brand.

    Gloss also recently moved to a new location on 35 W 31st Street, Suite 901, New York, NY 10001.

    Gloss Postproduction

    The new LAND ROVER LR2 campaign was shot over 13 days in Hawaii, with Gloss Postproduction working on location alongside the art director, client and photographer. The resulting shots can now be seen billboards and in magazines all over the United States.

    The project involved transporting a G5 Mac, calibrated 21" Eizo screen, Imacon Scanner and Epson Proofer with Profiles to guarantee true reference proofs. A retoucher was also flown out. Agency was Y&R Los Angeles, photographer was Kai Uwe Gundlach.

    Gloss Postproduction - with offices in Hamburg and Barcelona - recently opened its doors at Union Square in New York. The company offers creative retouching, composing, look development, CGI and colour management.

    Clients: Saatchi LA, Y&R LA, Publicis NY, DaimlerChrysler, Toyota, Land Rover, Amstel, Procter & Gamble, Christopher Griffith, Warwick Saint and Kai Uwe Gundlach.
