Sydney: Derek Swalwell

Shooting since 1999, Derek started in the architectural field, photographing projects for Australian architects, designers and magazines, before moving into advertising and lifestyle work.

Over the past 13 years, his work has expanded out to international design firms, advertising agencies and many overseas magazines.

Derek has travelled with his work, shooting in Singapore, Dubai, Malaysia and Hong Kong.

He has shot for many large agencies in Australia and abroad, with his work regularly appearing in various international books and magazines, whilst he continues to love working with great people and great ideas.

Karan Kapoor is an award winning advertising photographer based in London and New York. He was recently awarded in both PDN Annual 2013 and American Photography 29 competitions.

London: Patrick Harrison

Patrick Harrison lives in London with his family. He shoots people on location at work and at play worldwide, most recently in Croatia for telecommunications company VIP Net, creating an all media image bank with the tag line 'embrace life'.

His easy style of shooting, relaxed approach and ability to ‘capture the moment’ shines through his warm, natural, and honest set of images.

He is equally at ease directing a huge crew on an overseas production as he is documenting the homeless in London. Recent clients include Aviva, Canon, Centrica British Gas, Nokia, NHS and Thames Hospice.

London: Gary Salter

Born in the north of England, Gary Salter studied graphics and photography in Liverpool before moving to London, where he is currently based. He produces bold images with a distinctive and unique photographic style and quirky sense of humour. His work receives critical acclaim both in the UK and internationally.

More recently, Gary has been commissioned for several moving image projects for clients including Sky, Allergan, Honda, Absolute Radio, Giffgaff and the Bboy Championships, amongst many others.

Recent clients include MTV, Walkers Crisps, Channel 4, Observer Magazine, Heinz, GlaxoSmithKline, Yakult, Philips, Sony Ericsson, Frank, PG Tips, Finlandia, Windex, Ruffles, Nivea, Vodaphone, Airmiles and Fosters.

Mark Compton specialises in location photography. His bold, graphic approach sometimes comes with a touch of irony, and has found him collaborating on lifestyle and landscape work for clients ranging from Visa to Marriott Hotels.

Peter Wattendorff is a professional freelance photographer with more than 15 years' experience. Based in Münster, Germany, Peter and his team work for national and international clients and agencies. He loves shooting with people regardless whether they are managers, artists, workers, models or children.

Clients include Apetito, BASF, Eon, Miele, Cavallo, Sparda Bank, LBS, LVM and Ernsting's Family.

London: Peter Beavis Photography

Peter Beavis recently shot and directed three new campaigns for Tuborg, Liberty Global and Sunny in Cape Town and Prague respectively. He continues to put more and more of himself into his work. His way of working is very personal, spontaneous and honest and reflects his personal energy and attitude to life.

Peter also had a series of recent campaign images selected for the Communication Arts Photography Annual 54, to be published in July/August 2013. As soon as the trophy arrives it will be on the blog!

2013 kicked off in style with an ATL campaign for SIS featuring Olympic legend Sir Chris Hoy, followed by an epic location shoot for Herman Miller. He also completed projects for logistics giants Wincanton and Harveys Furniture.
