Adrian Mueller grew up in Lucerne, Switzerland and initially studied architectural engineering. He was drawn to photography through the commonalities of the two fields: clean lines, concise structures and how light reflects off surfaces. Time in Japan further influenced his creative approach through the concepts of craftsmanship, simplicity and reducing everything to its essence.
Thanks to his high-end liquids, still life and food photography, Adrian has been selected in Luerzer’s Archive '200 Best Ad Photographers Worldwide' for the past six years in a row, and his work has been recognised in Communication Arts Annuals and American Photography.
Current clients include L’Oréal, Bacardi, Malibu Rum, Microsoft, Maker’s Mark and Costa, as well as ad agencies BBDO, DDB, Ogilvy, JWT, Publicis and McGarryBowen, among others.
He lives in New York with his wife and 7-year-old son.
