Eugenio Recuenco Madrid photographers

"After a few years in art school they made me believe I was an artist. It didn't last very long."

Photographer Eugenio Recuenco has exhibited in venues around the world, including PhotoEspaña, Naarden Photofestival in the Netherlands, Art Toronto, and at the Bertin-Toublanc gallery in Paris. This year he will take part in the Miami Photo Festival.

Eugenio has shot for many international titles, including Madame Figaro, Wad, Spoon, Planet, Vanity Fair, Stern and ZinK, along with Spanish magazines Vogue, View, Vanidad and GQ. His international campaigns have included Boucheron, Baby Phat, Diesel, Rammstein, Mágnum, Nina Ricci and Shanghai Tang, and for the Spanish market he shot Festina, Custo, Carrera y Carrera, Codorniu, Mango Adorably, Baby Doll, Loewe and Cutty Sark.

The photographer recently began experimenting with moving images, working on videos such as 'Para nada', 'Silk' and 'Essence' which can be seen at his website.
