Alexander Babic Hamburg

German photographer Alexander Babic is based in Hamburg, but used to travelling and shooting on location worldwide. His work is primarily focused on portraits and people, but as a passionate motorcycle rider he likes all things fast and loud such as as cars, motorcycles or planes.

Through his longstanding relationship with Breitling, Alexander has shot various international campaigns including testimonials with actor John Travolta, NASA astronaut Mark Kelly, and Reno air racer Thom Richards. For the first time in the company's history, Breitling assigned him to shoot the limited 'Breitling calendar 2015' with pilots, people and planes related to the brand on locations all over Europe.

Besides his work for different agencies, clients and magazines, Alexander has worked on book projects and has held several exhibitions.

Bjarke Johansen Copenhagen

After graduating from the esteemed Schiller & Co. in 2004, Bjarke Johansen went on to shoot for some of the world’s leading fashion titles including ELLE, Harper’s Bazaar and DANSK.

His work as a fashion and portrait photographer focuses on capturing the spirit of his subjects in effortlessly composed and beautifully soft, minimally retouched images that convey emotion and energy.

The Danish-born photographer’s work continues to take him around the world, but he remains a great admirer of the Danish mentality and style, as well as the female form and the force of femininity.

Bjarke is very well known for his work in the delightful "100 Great Danes" published by teNeues and lives in Copenhagen with his wife and two sons.

Charles-Edouard specialises in advertising photography with a focus on fashion, beauty, lifestyle and products. From his birth country of France, life brought him to Asia, where he quickly started shooting national campaigns for global brands.

Charles-Edouard’s eye and dedication to producing great visuals, has led to assignments all around the world. From the countryside of China to the skylines of Hong Kong, flying drones in Germany, or in the USA while crossing the country. He has travelled the roads of Tibet towards Everest, shot in the best studios of Shanghai and in the middle of the Gobi desert. His experiences have brought him an immense flexibility and a love for the many faces of life that he enjoys capturing.

Dale May Photography New York

New York-based, award-winning advertising, entertainment and editorial photographer Dale May has been creating iconic images for over 18 years.

Best known for his richly stylised, character-driven, conceptual work, Dale has captured some of today's most recognisable personalities, including Daniel Day-Lewis, Charlize Theron, Benedict Cumberbatch, Daniel Radcliffe, Elizabeth Banks, and Jared Leto.

Dale’s commercial clients include work ranging from pharma to his most recent campaigns for Anheuser-Busch, Southern Comfort and Speed Stick.

He moved to NY to study fine art and photography at Parsons School of Design. Combining his background in painting, colour theory, lighting and retouching, Dale works with the inspiration to make the unthinkable real as well as believable.

David Wile Photography Toronto

David Wile is a Toronto-based award-winning photographer who specialises in lifestyle advertising, portraits and travel landscapes. He has worked on a variety of campaigns over the past decade and continues to push the boundaries of creating inspirational images.

David has garnered international attention including his 'Pucker' series of babies tasting lemons and his 'Splash' series of water splashing on people and animals.

He recently had an art exhibit in New York City at Agora gallery during the month of May, in which he showed a collection of his travel landscapes. This summer he will be working on a few new creative projects and some upcoming campaigns.

Jenny Hands London

Jenny Hands' career has been dedicated to the beautiful. But she is keen not to uphold typical standards of beauty. "I like shooting women for women, men for men" she says. "I like to be able to achieve beautiful pictures of humans of any age. I don't think women or men should get old and have to worry about it. It shouldn't have to be something that we even need to think about. Acceptance is embraced in this century, confronting traditional ideas of beauty is an exciting road to embrace."

Jeremy Shaw Sydney

Jeremy Shaw has quickly established himself as a sought-after image-maker. Studying at both the National Arts School and the Australian Centre for Photography in Sydney, then going on to assist Australia’s top advertising photographers, he believes learning and practising the craft is a never ending process.

Jeremy surrounds himself with a diverse collective of creatives which brings a different perspective and opinion, helping to enrich the process of creating his photography. Juggling time between personal work and commissioned work is extremely important for him, while producing personal projects helps him to stand out and identifies who he is as a photographer.

In 2013 and 2015, Jeremy was selected as a finalist for one of Australia's most prestigious photography awards, The National Portrait Prize.

Jeremy excels in problem solving and collaborating to come to a creative solution, concentrating on delivering successful campaigns that demonstrate a close and creative attention to detail.

Kai Schwabe has a passion for food photography. In August 2015 he moved to his new 470m² daylight loft-studio, located in the 50s industrial site of the former Borgward car factory. The studio is close to the airport and motorways, near to the centre of Bremen and features ample parking.

Kai is constantly involved in projects for clients including Azul, BelVita, Mondelez, JDE and Nordsee.

Latest national and international projects include shoots for Nordsee's current campaigns, variations of coffee recipes for JDE (Jacobs Douwe Egberts DE, Professional Services), and the summer campaign plus key visual for one of  Mondelez International's top product 'Miracel Whip'. Kai is currently working for Villeroy & Boch.

Featured in this Spotlight is a selection of Kai's personal work of vegan recipes shot in daylight, amongst other work.

Matthew Joseph London

Based in London but working worldwide, Matthew Joseph is an advertising photographer with a long list of happy clients. Whether it's a portrait-based shoot, a lifestyle commission, a landscape subject or a technical response to a brief that is required, Matthew will utilise his wide and varied skill-set and experience to complete the job on time, to brief and on budget.

Matthew was recently awarded RICS Infrastructure of the year 2016, and his latest awareness campaign for Tideway, called 'River People', also made it to a prestigious solo exhibition in Westminster, London. His work received national press coverage on TV, radio and in the newspapers, as well as being recommended by Time Out.

Along with his ability to capture lifestyle, real people and real moments, Matthew has a technical ability enabling him to deliver such projects as Yell's latest UK print/billboard campaign.

2016 is turning into an exciting year for Michelle Holden with a permanent move to London by way of Sydney and NYC.

The year kicked-off with a global campaign for regular client Dove. Michelle works with many leading fashion and beauty brands and is equally at ease in the studio or on location, having travelled extensively for her work. She is an easy-going, fun and energetic talent who creates a great atmosphere on set.

Michelle has also worked with many high profile celebrities and royalty, including Zara Phillipps and The Queen of Denmark.

Peter Burgstaller Vienna

Peter Burgstaller belongs to the select group of leading advertising photographers in Austria. He has been selected by Lürzers Archive as one of the '200 Best Advertising Photographers 2016/17'.

Outdoors Peter is very much at home, and handling complex lighting situations is what he likes the most.

In recent years he has shot the Austrian Tourism campaign and has created outstanding landscapes and backplates for the industry.

He now splits his time between Tokyo and London and travels the world for clients, bringing his unique mix of strong lighting techniques, boundless energy, and conceptual thinking to each project.

His latest project is for Beats by Dr. Dre wireless headphones commissioned by Apple US to shoot the launch of the 'Show your Colour' campaign in Japan.

Steve Greenaway Sydney

Steve Greenaway is a Sydney-based advertising photographer specialising in portrait, conceptual and lifestyle photography. “I shoot for a narrative, I want to give the audience a visual story.”

London born, Steve moved to Australia in 2001 and regularly travels interstate and internationally for commissions, as well as to stories that challenge and inspire him. Holding both a UK and Australian passport makes working internationally easy, as does his network of international producers.

Steve’s work is often showcased in industry journals and awards. His current client list includes CommBank, HSBC,
 Virgin Australia, Campbell’s, Toyota, Allianz, Harley Davidson, Jim Beam and Colgate, and his work is commissioned by leading advertising agencies.

His personal project ‘A City Unpolarised’ debuted at Black Eye Gallery in 2014 and was selected to be exhibited at part of the prestigious Head On Photography Festival. He is currently working on a new series, which is exhibiting later this year.
