Alex Kotlik New York

Alex Kotlik is a New York-based photographer, specialising in people, interiors and travel photography.

He has 10 years of experience shooting on location worldwide. Being versatile, Alex is absolutely capable of producing photo shoots of any scale and nature. Combining journalistic style with a 'studio-on-location' approach, he creates images that are spontaneous and natural, filled with life, light and colours.

Karan Kapoor London

Karan Kapoor has been selected for the prestigious American Photography 27 awards. He was also recently commissioned to shoot a series of vibrant images for Dubai's Wild Wadi Waterpark. As can be seen from the images chosen in this Spotlight, he lent his trademark visual style to the project, capturing movement and exhilaration in stunning colour and clarity.

Karan also shot stills and video for FriendsLife. This summer will see the release of print campaigns for Harrah Casino (USA) and Skyride (UK).

Konstantin Eulenburg Hamburg

Konstantin Graf zu Eulenburg is a people and interior photographer.

As a freelance artist and photographer, Konstantin opened his first studio in 1995. In 2002, he co-founded H2E Studios (Heidicker, Holtmann, Eulenburg), made up of five separate studios measuring a total of 1200 m². Facilities include a daylight studio and a dedicated props and scenery workshop. The studios handle large-scale productions.

Since 2002, the focus has been on advertising photography. In 2004, H2E expanded into rental equipment and a year later Konstantin, together with partner Jacob Alberts, founded Eulenburg & Alberts Fototeam GmbH, a production company for advertising and catalogues that engages large volume productions.

For the project featured in this Spotlight, Konstantin created his own sets and wallpapers.

Whether against a stark white background for a nice clean cut-out, or in their natural environment in a more reportage style, it is putting the subject at ease that helps him capture those great moments and expressions.

Nick Daly works mostly on location, with people and situations as his speciality. He focuses on the warmth of feeling between couples, families or complete strangers; the spontaneous reaction to a situation and the ability to capture it. Rafael Pinho Paris

Born in Brazil in 1979, Rafael Pinho took up photography after finishing his studies in architecture. He set out as a freelancer in 2005 in Belo Horizonte and spent the following years between Berlin, Reykjavík, São Paulo and Paris.

His editorial work has appeared in Modern Painters (US), Forum AID (Sweden), FFW Mag! (Brazil), Nýtt Líf (Iceland), Trip and Tpm (Brazil). Sam Robinson London

Sam Robinson is known for his honest, natural images and shooting style. He captures the energy and character of his subjects with a relaxed, uncomplicated ease and has a unique and fresh approach to his personal and commissioned work that concentrates mainly on lifestyle and people photography.

Sam has a London studio that has recently been expanded to accommodate his production company, editing suites and screening rooms. He combines working with film alongside his usual stills photography to produce stills and motion simultaneously.

Sean Malyon loves photographing people. It doesn't matter to him if they are rich and famous or plain and ordinary, he approaches each subject with the same passion and professionalism.

He has recently been photographing football fans for energy company Npower. These images appeared on giant posters at Wembley and Old Trafford stadiums.

Simon Winnall London

Simon Winnall has had a very busy start to 2011, with a campaign for French mobile phone company SFR shot in Paris for agency Leg, plus a London shoot for global travel brand Amadeus with agency Viva Aspire. He is currently putting a lot of energy into finalising his motion reel, which is full of lifestyle moments to compliment his stills work.
